Apple Complaint – How to Fix the iPhone 4 Reception Problems
How annoying is it when you’re using your cellphone and you just randomly lose reception, drop calls, inability to make calls, or send texts? How much more annoying would it be if your phone was not only doing all of those things but also telling you that there is nothing wrong with its signal strength? You would assume your mobile phone was broken wouldn’t you?
The above is a common complaint planet antares complaints dot com has heard among users of the iPhone 4, the crazy thing about the issue is that your phone is not broken at all.
So what is wrong with the iPhone 4?
Recently Apple the producing company of the iPhone 4 made a public announcement stating that the formula used in making the iPhone indicate to its user the current signal strength in the area is in fact significantly off by the manufacturers fault therefore the problem is a software issue and not the phone itself.
According to Apple due to the miscalculation in the formula which depicts the signal strength of the reception of the iPhone the phone will commonly display two more bars than the signal strength is actually at. What we mean by this is if your phones signal strength is only 2 bars it is mistakenly telling you that it has 4 or more bars by software flaw.
So how can I fix my cellphone to tell me what strength my cellphone reception is actually at?
Apple has released to the public a software update which can be put onto their cellphone models which will correct the reception status on the phones display.
If Apples formula was flawed how do I know this software update is actually right?
Apple is taking on the formula for depicting cellphone signal strength from AT&T’s recommended formula guide for cellphones. The actual signal strength of the cellphone will not be changed but the displayed signal strength will now be accurately displayed instead of a few bars off.
It is also noted if you have been making complaints about the overall signal strength of the apple phones they have also admitted to a design flaw with the antennae design itself that they place in their phones. Apple has made several admittances to many different flawed designs in their cellphones which still continue to experience error after the updated new software or model.
